This 2-story home lay within the flood zone of the Susquehanna River. Wolfe excavated around the building, installed crib piles, and lifted the house with its fireplace and two wood porches. Wolfe supported it on steel while masons built the new block foundation under it, then lowered it to its final elevation 7′ above its original elevation.
