The Penfield Pavilion was flooded in Hurricane Sandy of 2012. Over the following years, plans were made to elevate the Pavilion out of the flood plain. In 2016, Wolfe House Movers lifted the 11,000+ sq/ft building & deck and relocated it 150′ into the parking lot where it was supported and stored for several months while the new foundation was installed. Three months later, once the foundation was prepared, we re-mobilized to move the Pavilion back the same 150′ and set it onto its new piers, three and a half feet higher than its original elevation. The building was moved on 16 Buckingham Coaster & Power Dollies.
