The initial move route for this 62’x72′ office building looked reasonably straightforward, but when an adjacent business declined access to their parking lot, Wolfe worked out an alternate route. The new ¼-mile move route took the building down a street and around the block to its new location. To minimize disruption of the local traffic, we moved the building at night, starting around 10 pm and finishing four hours later. Despite the late hour, there was an attentive group of onlookers as the building moved down the road, under a few electric wires, and into its new site.
