Services

Fairfield, NJ / September 2024

Wolfe House Movers, LLC, is partnering with a New Jersey general contractor and the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs to lift homes that are located in flood zones. Flood risk is an ongoing concern for homeowners in coastal regions and along inland waterways. Lifting a house above the floodplain can lower homeowners’ flood insurance and help to protect their possessions. This New Jersey house lift was a split-level 62’x70′ home with brick veneer, an interior stone wall with fireplace, chimney, and back deck, built on slabs with a partial basement. Wolfe lifted it 8′ to its new permanent elevation, supporting it on cribbing while the new foundation was built under it.
