Wolfe House & Building Movers relocated a log house near Bloomsburg in central Pennsylvania. The home was moved 300 feet back on the property across a muddy and uneven field to its new location further from the street frontage. The house was moved with a front porch, a back porch, and a field stone chimney. At its new location, supported the house in a raised position while new concrete block foundation walls were built. Once they were in place, we set the house down on that new permanent foundation. We think that part of the charm and appeal of living in a log home is the peace and quiet of it, and now these homeowners have it, along with more privacy, now that their house is located further back on their lot.
