After sitting vacant for nearly forty years, a small historic gas station in downtown Philly has been relocated for renovation. Wolfe moved the 11’x25′ single-story brick building with its interior slab from the original location in Center City to a new site a mile and a half away near the Sedgeley Porter House. The building was built in 1930 and was a Gulf gas station for many years before it fell into disrepair. After renovation, the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia plans to use the building as a base for their Youth Cycling program.
