In 2020, Wolfe was hired to shore up the columns in a 145’ x 182’ 4-story commercial building in Bismarck, North Dakota. The pile caps beneath the columns were failing and needed to be replaced. Wolfe welded horizontal steel lift beams to the twelve columns and built a steel support structure under the lift beams. They then used 52 Buckingham 5” Bore Jacks to raise the steel lift beams slightly and take the weight of the columns while the pile caps were replaced.
