This 41’x 48′ single story brick veneer ranch needed to be relocated for the expansion of the business next to it. Wolfe used the Buckingham SmartSteer® System to maneuver the house between several buildings. The move route cut across a mile and a half of rolling fields, and, due to damp conditions, Wolfe laid steel plates a few at a time in front of the house as it progressed. The move went smoothly, and within a few hours, the house was setting over the footings at its new location.
