This flat bottom barge was 36’x185′ and weighed 650 ton. Wolfe House Movers set up the Buckingham Dolly System under half of the barge and once it was cut down the middle, we moved half of it sideways 50′. A 20′ extension was added to the middle and then the half on dollies was moved back up against and held there for welding. This resulted in a 56’x185′ barge and added roughly 35,000 cubic feet of usable cargo space.
