The Chicago Cubs organization is on a mission to preserve as much as possible about Chicago’s beloved Wrigley Field. Part of that mission involved picking up and temporarily relocating the groundskeeper’s house from its location at the northwest corner of Wrigley Field to the north end of the parking lot. The groundskeeper’s house was moved to allow construction crews to complete modifications and to excavate a two-story basement level. Once that work is completed, the house will be moved back to its original location where the exterior will be restored.
