The old Metra station in New Lenox, IL was moved 5 miles last week to its new home in Homer Glen, IL. The 86′ long, 200 ton load was moved on 8 remote-controlled Dollies with the Buckingham Power Dolly System. The move took close to 9 hours with tree branches needing trimmed along the way and many utility wires over the road needing lifted while the depot passed under them. The building arrived safely by early evening and was set over its new foundation.
