Slave Cabins Relocated in Botetourt County, VA

Slave Cabins moving on dolly through muddy conditions in fall time.

Wolfe House & Building Movers was contracted to relocate two historic log cabins close to Daleville, VA.

The log cabins were built in the early nineteenth century to house slaves. One cabin had a large stone and brick fireplace in poor condition.

In late February 2016, we successfully moved the cabins 3/4 mile to a new location where they were set near the entrance to a park.
