Crews Move The Historic Dansbury Depot

Dansbury depot raised on dolly prepared for its move.

The historic Dansbury Depot in East Stroudsburg, PA had been sitting without a purpose for several years after a fire destroyed most of the interior and some of the exterior of the building. In October 2010, Wolfe House Movers moved this 20’x88′ timber frame depot to a temporary location in a municipal parking lot. The final move to its permanent location occurred in December 2010. The plan is for the depot to be restored and put into use.
